GR / Οι ΑΝΙΚΑ σχηματίστηκαν το 1998 στο Λονδίνο. Η σύνθεση τους κινείται σε πολύμορφα ηχητικά επίπεδα ενσωματώνοντας ετερόκλητες μουσικές φόρμες. Κάτω από την επίδραση των σύγχρονων μουσικών ρευμάτων του 20ου αιώνα, ο ήχος τους προσανατολίζεται στην μοντέρνα ηλεκτρονική μουσική, το κυβερνοπάνκ και τη πειραματική αβαντ-γκάρντ. Το A:0507 (LP/CD), η δεύτερη ολοκληρωμένη δουλειά των ΑΝΙΚΑ, ηχογραφήθηκε στην Αθήνα την περίοδο 2005 έως 2007. Κυκλοφόρησε σε βινύλιο το 2008 και σε cd το 2010.
EN / ANIKA is helmed by A.G. He creates an amalgam of analogue and digital synthesis, fusing the experimental avant-garde of the late 20th century with cyberpunk and contemporary electronics. From 1998 to 2004, ANIKA recorded demo tapes in a four-cassette recorder in London, Newcastle and Athens. ‘A:0507’, featuring 16 cut-up, sci-fi soundscapes, is ANIKA's first full-length album, released in 2008. It is preceded by ‘A:0304’, a Mini Lp, released in 2005.
